Detroit Trouble turns working-class Detroit pressure into blues-rooted hard rock built for release. Formed in 2015, the power trio of Kidd Lightning, Alex Blackburn and Demarcus Sumter draws from lived experiences with work, poverty, anxiety, addiction and persistence, channeling them through heavy guitar, physical rhythm and the raw vocabulary of the blues.

Onstage, three musicians become something bigger. Musicianship, personality and unapologetic showmanship turn that weight into a loud, visceral rock-and-roll experience built to be felt as much as heard. That combination has carried Detroit Trouble from Detroit stages to clubs, festivals and direct-support appearances across the country.
